Our Kippertie kit is an electronic lens mount system for RED DSMC2, allowing the use of neutral density filtration behind the lens. For compact gimbal or underwater setups, this product has been a gamechanger and avoids unnecessary complexity in the build process.

We have an EF and a PL version available, with two different cartridges. A - 0, 0.3, 0.6, 0.9 or B 1.2, 1.5, 1.8, 2.1.

In our surf housing there is a control allowing you to adjust the ND setting on the fly in the water. This is especially useful for early morning shoots on the east coast where a variety of ND settings are required to compensate for rapidly rising light.

Note: Due to the height of the cartridge, the Revolva will not clear some top plates or direct monitor mounts on the top of the brain. We have a Wooden Camera monitor riser that circumvents this.
