Our Kippertie kit is an electronic lens mount system for RED Komodo, or V-Raptor DSMC3, allowing the use of neutral density filtration behind the lens. For compact gimbal or underwater setups, this product has been a gamechanger and avoids unnecessary complexity in the build process.

Choose between an EF or PL version. Each has an ‘A’ & ‘B’ cartridges with stops ranging from 0-2.1.

This system is compatible with our Red Komodo waterhousing, allowing for behind the lens ND with full control from the water.

Compatibility Notes

• Lenses with a flange depth more than 27mm will not work with the mount as they do not clear the ND cartridges. Most modern PL glass works, some common lenses we know don’t work are the Cooke Panchro Classics & vintage Zeiss Super Speeds.
