Our RED DSMC2 housing is the best solution for capturing ultra high resolution, RAW video in a surf, shallow water or topside application. If you need 8K video, or 4K and above in high frame rate, utilising this kit with the appropriate RED camera package will provide the ultimate in cinema grade water imagery.

The housing is rated to 20 metres depth, with a slight positive buoyancy. A number of lenses can be accommodated, from stills to cine glass. Camera control is via the RED Sidekick panel, with monitoring via a display at the rear of the housing. SmallHD’s Cine 7 is our preferred monitor choice, but 502, 503 and other screens are compatible.

- Arri Signature Primes (18mm-125mm)

This housing has a waterproof SDI connection for our 50 metre directors cabling kit. Simply connect the loop through SDI-out on the monitor to the housing bulkhead, add a topside monitor and you’re good to go.

Power is via V-mount batteries. We have Dynacore 98wH units available for rental which are travel safe, up to 275wH is possible in the housing for extended runtime.

#2 - HOUSING READY TO SHOOT KIT
- Includes RED DSMC2 surf housing with lens port, RED Sidekick panel, SmallHD Cine 7, Sigma 18-35mm lens. You supply DSMC2 brain with V-mount expander. $700 per day

#3 - RED GEMINI + HOUSING READY TO SHOOT KIT
-Includes everything in #2, but with a DSMC2 RED Gemini 5K camera package. The camera kit includes a Kippertie ND Revolva EF mount, 480GB Minimag + accessories. $1500 per day
